However, I have been working on a TimeVaultNG program which has similar goals. TimeVaultNG can be found on launchpad and although it is not (in my opinion) ready for users yet, I have a good backend down. What exactly is the status of that and when do you think it would be ready for production? I personally use os x and different flavours of linux (I prefer KDE) and TimeMachine in os x is a thing that really calms my mind. Something similar for KDE would really improve it.
