Thank you very much for this useful widget!
I would like to ask you if there is a way to remove some buttons. I want to remove "turn display off" and "hibernate".
It would be useful a "settings" button for that.
Well, I came to your site because I'm not able to use my old desktop icon I made for suspend: a simple widget icon with this command on press : # qdbus org.kde.kded /modules/powerdevil suspend 2
Since I upgraded to KDE 4.6 that don't work anymore (this is the error message: Cannot find '.suspend' in object /modules/powerdevil at org.kde.kded.
Your applet works for me in 4.6.
Please, can you tell me what command I must use to suspend as user? I very like a very very clean desktop and a simple transparent icon with just a dot as "title" is what I used before and what I want to use..
Thank you very much for patience! Hope this wasn't a to long post :)

It's looking good! Well done!
Please keep it integrated with KDE.

Sorry, maybe I missed that bit of info... does it support network and local storage for backup?

Say, you have a big NAS on your network, and want to save your backups there (I have this at work). Or you have a big spare disk on your desktop pc and want to save your backups there (I have this configuration at home). As you see, I'm quite interested ;-)

IMHO it also should do some "smart" backup removing, when the backup file system is full, leaving one copy of last week's backup and (if available) one copy of last month's backup, and so on, since you're likely want to restore something from yesterday's backup or last month's backup, but most of the time you won't care to restore something from *exactly* 42 days ago.

Is any work still being done on the RTM Akonadi resource? I'd really like to have a synchronized to-do list across my two KDE installs.

Where can I find the backend to play with it?

Hi! Thanks for writing this plasmoid, I just got it through Kubuntu 10.04! Very pretty, and it works great, except for one thing: I don't understand what makes it synchronize with the server, neither pulling nor pushing. It seems like certain events makes it do it, but I don't understand when it does, and I don't see any "synchronize now" so that I can make sure I have the latest from the server. How do I do this?

Your blog doesn't look right in Lynx. Maybe your theme? But other than that, I'm going to say this isnt the first I've seen this. But yes, it's pretty much the way it is and the way it will be. wty1d8

@Harsh

Thanks :)

I was also a little disappointed, I felt that I made a legitimately useful plasmoid, as well as a new take on the configuration of applet-based tuners.

Such is life, it won't prevent me from contributing to KDE in the future though I would admit it would have been nice to go to a developer event.

I'm pretty sure you have run into a known bug. I've fixed it for the next 4.4.x release as well as 4.5. If you know how, try running the svn checkout for branch 4.4 and see if that works. (you should only have to build kdeplasma-addons/libs/rtm)

Hi dude,

I'm trying to use the RTM plasmoid but all I get is a blank page when trying to auth the plasmoid. Is it a known bug or am I doing something wrong here?

Thanks a lot!
